Opal nuggets and Matchstick Sugilite bracelet with sterling silver and copper plated spacer beads. Although Sugilite is more commonly seen as a purple stone, this particular stone is quite impressive in it's matrix and banded formation consisting of mostly browns and golds with heavy influence of manganese "sticks" and when chalcedony is present within the stone you find these unique and distinct patterns. The opal nuggets are a warm semi translucent golden brown color with very subtle shades of grey and a bit of blue. These opals do not contain the "fire" associated with the more familiar term opal.

One of the intrinsic traits of opals is it's ability to amplify ones traits and characteristics to help overcome lesser attributes. It helps to strengthen memory (I definitely need this) and instill faithfulness in all forms of your relationships.

Sugilite is a very healing stone bringing about an understanding between the well-being of both the body and the mind. It helps to create a flow of gentle energy and comfort in times of despair whether it be physical or emotional. It has also been used to transfer dis-ease to the stone, especial effective when manganese is present in the stone, such as the one in this piece.
